Breakfast bowl

This recipe is rather an inspiration than detailed instructions on how to make this breakfast bowl because there ar unlimited options! And that is what I love about it – you can make your delicious filling breakfast fast and you can always use different, seasonal fruits.

Base:

In a blender (or coffee grinder) grind 2 tbs of flaxseeds, 1 tbs of almonds and 1 tbs of sunflower seeds. Transfer the mixture into the bowl and pour 5-6 tbs of cold water in it. Let ferment over night (for about 6-8 hours).

Alternatively you can use quinoa flakes, oatflakes or any other flakes you like. Let them soak over night in cold water.

This version is amazing during cold wonter mornings! Add some sultanas to the base in the evening and let ferment over night. In the morning, add a teaspoon of honey.
Chop one apple and roast it in a pan with a 1/2 tsp of butter. When apples get goldish tinge add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and wallnuts. Cook over a medum heat for about 1-2 minutes, then mix apples with the fermented base.

You can also try to add tahini, bananas, oranges, seasame seeds, hazelnuts, cherries ….anything you like! I would love if you share your favourites with me.
