The gratest thing about healthy home made cream-cheese is that it can be used in countless ways. After a delicious Mango cheesecake I have another tip for you – very quick, fresh and yum spread.
Ingredients:
– 200 g cream-cheese (recipe for its home made version out of kefir here)
– 1 clove of garlic
– chives, parsley, thyme, watercress or other herb
– pepper and salt
– fresh lemon juice
Method:
Mix chopped herb into the cream-cheese and season it with pepper, garlic and salt. Adding some lemon juice keeps the spread fresh and flavours intertwined. You can serve the spread on the toast or as a dip to corn tortillas.
